15 June 2009 - ASHA Call for Papers Accepted
Release is officially Ireland's first emerging best practice in early intervention speech and language therapy. Release was informed their submission to the ASHA Call for Papers was accepted today.

27 May 2009 - Galway Independent "Special Needs Workshop"
A workshop for those affected by the reductions in special needs classes will run in Galway on 2 June. Organised by Release Communication with Educate Together, the workshop is aimed at teachers, special needs assistants, resource teachers, Montessori teachers and other students. Participants in the workshop will learn valuable skills and tools to help children with speech and language problems in their classrooms.

27 May 2009 - Drogheda Independent "Education Workshop"
In conjunction with Educate Together, Release's Senior Speech and Language Therapist Anna McLeod held workshops around Ireland for Teachers and Special Needs Assistants who wanted to learn specific skills for their classes. Workshops were held in Drogheda, Dublin, Galway and Limerick with over 100 teachers and Special Needs Assistants taught.
