  2. Dear Release
On April 23, 1959, my little sister Sandra passed away . Sandra was born with Down Syndrome. The doctors released her from the hospital without realizing she had developed pneumonia. Sandra lived for only twelve days. My mother spoke to me about her at my sons graduation from college in 2006. I could still feel the pain in her voice after 47 years gone by. I have another sister named Donna who has Down Syndrome. She just turned forty three years old. She loves country music. Her favorite band is Lonestar. Of course she is in love with the drummer.
In 2005, I attended a funeral for a little girl named Leah. Leah passed away six weeks before her first birthday with a condition similar to Down Syndrome. She is buried at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery in Spokane Washington. My dream is to reach across America to let people know how hard it is to lose a child and why we need to put more money into research. I co write songs with a company out of Nashville called Nashville Song Service. A song demo was done as a tribute to Leah and the family. Nashville Song Service gave me permission to post the song called, ” Soon The Tears Will Fall ” and the story behind the song on myspace. If you would like to hear the song and read the story go to:

  4. Hi guys,

Have a look at a video of Release created for free by Brand New Productions.

Please send it on to your friends! The more people who see it, the better the chances of convincing the HSE there is a REAL NEED for continuous speech therapy for our kids!!!
