Explaining deafness to children (a deaf child, their siblings, family, friends or peers) can be a challenge in making sure everyone understands the facts.
Concept books are a good way to explain to all children (deaf children, too) the specific frustrations and issues deaf children can experience.

I have long believed there to be a genetic link for autism spectrum disorders; more so in the "non-classical" disorders on the spectrum. This article is just amazing. Six children, one sperm donor, 3 children with autism.
