Assessments

Every student participating in Release must have a Release Assessment. The assessment costs €350, and if you are in at least two Release sessions, your child's annual reassessment costs only €200.

Caregivers are as essential to the child's speech therapy progress as the Speech and Language Therapist. Caregivers are thus involved from the beginning of their child's progress through the Release speech therapy at-home, preassessment inventory form teaches the caregiver how their day-to-day experiences with their child can enhance the speech assessment. The more detail used, the better prepared the Speech Language Therapist will be for your child's assessment.

Release helps caregivers pinpoint their child's strengths and needs, thereby facilitating the choice of intervention targets or goals. The team, made up of Speech and Language Therapists and caregiver(s), will then determine the best goals for the child to achieve.

All Release assessments are videoed in order for the Speech and Language Therapist to review, verify and write a detailed report. These videos will be deleted once the report is complete. All caregivers are required to sign off permission to have their child videoed. If you do not want your child videoed, please let our therapist know in advance to your assessment.
